To those who are interested in volunteering,
Park Volunteer Fire Company #4 or otherwise known as Munhall #4 is a 100% volunteer Fire Station. There are so very few people now a day who are willing to make the effort to help others.
In a time when the general consensus is “What’s in it for me?” the Fire Service now more than ever is in desperate need of those who want to make a difference. Making the decision to volunteer to help serve others and your community is a noble one.
The Fire Service holds a long and storied history of extraordinary people who decided to answer someone’s call for help. Being able to provide service to others in their utmost time of need truly demonstrates virtue and honor. The men and women who volunteer out of their own time exemplify the value and virtue of self sacrifice, the only real gift is one that expects no counter–gift in return.
I implore you at this point in time when the Fire Service is in desperate need of extraordinary individuals who answer the call for help, that you will consider becoming someone who is willing to answer that call.
